In this role, you will lead product direction for the Broker Rating Team-a critical platform that powers pricing, quoting, and underwriting decisions across the broker ecosystem. You will be responsible for shaping and evolving rating capabilities that ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, business agility, and a seamless experience for brokers and customers.

You will work at the intersection of business strategy, actuarial and underwriting requirements, technology delivery, and customer experience. Partnering closely with engineering, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts, you will define product outcomes, prioritize investments, and drive delivery of rating enhancements that directly impact growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.

This role requires a product leader who can navigate complexity, balance competing priorities, and drive measurable outcomes while modernizing a foundational capability that sits at the heart of the insurance value chain.

Accountabilities:

Own and drive the product vision, roadmap, and priorities for the Rating Team, aligned to business goals and customer outcomesTranslate complex rating, underwriting, regulatory, and operational requirements into a clear product backlog and delivery planPartner with engineering and business stakeholders to deliver rating enhancements, production stability, and modernization initiativesLead Discovery and Framing and Inception sessions with stakeholders across underwriting, actuarial, regulatory compliance, sales, business architecture, and technologyDefine and evolve product strategy, balancing strategic investments, operational needs, regulatory commitments, and technical debtEnsure rating solutions support speed-to-market while maintaining accuracy, consistency, compliance, and maintainabilityDefine and track meaningful success metrics to measure customer value, business impact, operational performance, and delivery outcomes (KPIs)Support end-to-end testing, production releases, and validation of rating changes and enhancementsCo-own and lead incident response and root cause analysis activities with the Managing Engineer and business stakeholdersClearly communicate product strategy, priorities, decisions, and progress through stakeholder engagement, reviews, and demosParticipate in after-hours Emergency Conference Call (ECC) bridge calls as required Qualifications:

Strong product leadership experience in complex, cross-functional environments with competing prioritiesAbility to translate ambiguous business and technical challenges into clear outcomes, priorities, and execution plansProven strength in backlog management, user story creation, prioritization, and delivery sequencingAbility to influence and align stakeholders across business and technology functionsAdvanced communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to technical and non-technical audiencesData-driven mindset with experience using metrics to guide product decisions and measure impactExperience partnering closely with engineering teams in outcome-based delivery environmentsHigh ownership, sound judgment, and adaptability in fast-paced, evolving environments Bonus Qualifications:

Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter modernization initiatives, including rating, product model, underwriting, or policy administration capabilitiesExperience with insurance rating, pricing, underwriting, or policy administration platformsKnowledge of insurance products, rating engines, and regulatory requirements within the Property & Casualty industryExperience working in regulated environments with compliance-driven delivery requirementsKnowledge of Extreme Programming (XP), Agile, or Product Operating Model practicesExperience supporting broker, agent, or customer-facing experiences with a focus on efficiency and usabilityStrong facilitation skills across discovery, prioritization, and stakeholder alignment sessionsFamiliarity with product, operational, financial, and delivery performance metrics Allstate Canada Group has policies and practices that provide workplace accommodations. Compensation Expected compensation for this role ranges from $ 89,300.00 - 139,300.00 annually. Actual salary offered to successful candidates will vary based on their skills and experience.
