About this role

Overview

The Supply Chain Category Management Specialist manages strategic supplier relationships and fleet-related service categories, including License & Title, Aftermarket Equipment, Vehicle Transport, Maintenance, and other service categories. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive cost savings, revenue growth, operational efficiency, supplier performance, and risk mitigation.

In this role, you will:

Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.Lead sourcing initiatives, supplier selection, and contract negotiations to optimize cost, performance, and revenue opportunities.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and supplier partners.Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase revenue through data and market analysis.Ensure contracts and supplier agreements comply with company policies, business requirements, and SLAs. This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Clayton, MO.

Responsibilities

We are hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:

Manage assigned Supply Chain Management categories, including strategy development, supplier selection, implementation, and recommendations for enhancementsCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand objectives, develop category plans and/or contractual roadmaps, advise on various supply alternatives, and provide cost analyses on owned categories and product portfoliosManage supplier selection process, evaluate processes and competitive pricing/bids, conduct sourcing reviews, and analyze proposals to ensure the best-fit supplier is recommended to the businessLead business partners through RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs (RFxs) in the procurement system, and translate requirements into agreements and/or manage contract negotiations as necessaryDraft and maintain contracts, such as master service agreements, statements of work, non-disclosure agreements, addendums, and other related documents Evaluate and report on existing supplier performance and expenditures through annual reviews, contractual audits, and on-site supplier assessment visits, as neededDevelop and maintain relationships with strategic partners, act as liaison between the company, accounts payable, and assigned suppliers to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoicesResolve supply chain vendor performance issues, contractual/compliance problems, or supply chain constraintsEnsure security and privacy programs and policies are incorporated into sourcing and contract negotiationsStay abreast of technologies, materials, and logistical opportunities to reduce cost and improve speed to marketParticipate in training of new team members In addition to these job functions, candidates will also need to display proficiency in the following Competencies:

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's DegreeTwo (2+) years of drafting and negotiating commercial contractsThree (3+) years of Supply Chain Management experience with Sourcing, Supplier Relationship Management, and Financial AnalysisMust be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future Preferred:

Demonstrated sourcing (RFx) experienceSource to Pay/Coupa/Supply Chain related technology experienceCertified Purchasing Manager (CPM) and/or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) certification(s)
