As an APAC Payments Operations Control - Vice President in Operations Control Management team, you will lead the development and execution of an enhanced control framework that supports continuous and integrated risk assessment. You will drive top-down risk analysis, strengthen control monitoring, and support timely detection, escalation, root-cause analysis, and remediation of control issues. You will collaborate closely with partners across operations, legal, compliance, risk, audit, regulators, and technology controls to improve outcomes and support safe business growth. You will work in a culture that values accountability, partnership, and continuous improvement.
You will be a trusted leader for controls across payments operations, helping teams adopt sound change management and consistent evaluation practices. Your work will improve visibility into key risk indicators and performance metrics, enabling earlier issue identification and stronger governance. You will help reduce financial loss, regulatory exposure, and reputational risk through disciplined execution and clear stakeholder engagement. Build a proactive risk and control culture across payments operations through consistent evaluation and strong change management practicesLead the development and ongoing enhancement of the payments operations control framework and integrated risk assessment approachDeliver end-to-end execution of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment, including identifying control gaps and driving resolution plansAnalyze key risk indicators and key performance indicators to identify trends, inform priorities, and support business strategiesDrive timely control issue detection, escalation, root-cause analysis, and remediation trackingPartner with stakeholders across business, operations, legal, compliance, risk, audit, regulators, and technology controls to align on risk decisions and outcomesProvide clear updates and insights to senior management to support prioritization and resource decisionsEmbed consistent documentation, governance routines, and control testing practices to strengthen transparency and accountabilityInfluence control improvements across teams beyond direct reporting lines and deliver outcomes under tight deadlines Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor's degreeMinimum 10 years of experience in the financial services industryDemonstrated understanding of payments products, business, and operationsStrong knowledge of risk and control management concepts, including designing and executing a Risk and Control Self-Assessment with business partnersExcellent communication and influencing skills, including the ability to present clearly to senior stakeholdersStrong stakeholder management skills, with experience aligning across diverse, senior partnersAbility to analyze and interpret program data, including key risk indicators and key performance indicatorsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio) Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience in controls, audit, quality assurance, risk management, or complianceDemonstrated people leadership experience with a track record of developing and mentoring talent
