Role Description:
An exciting opportunity to join our Greece & Cyprus Investment Banking team in London. The team provides strategic advice and capital markets solutions to leading corporate, financial sponsor and government-related clients across Greece and Cyprus, leveraging the full spectrum of the bank's global capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Successful candidate will be an integral member of the team and will work closely with senior bankers, product partners and industry coverage teams on the origination and execution of a wide range of transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, equity and debt financings and other strategic advisory assignments.
Key responsibilities will include:
Supporting the execution of M&A, equity and debt capital markets transactions, as well as strategic advisory assignmentsWorking closely with product and industry teams on transaction execution and business origination initiativesBuilding and reviewing complex financial models and valuation analyses, including DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions, LBO and merger modelsLeading the preparation of client presentations, marketing materials, pitch books and transaction documentationConducting detailed company, industry and market research and translating findings into actionable insightsAnalysing corporate and financial information to support strategic dialogue and investment recommendationsCoordinating workstreams across internal teams and external advisors to help drive transaction executionBuilding and maintaining sector expertise and staying abreast of market developments relevant to the Greece and Cyprus client base What we are looking for:
Proven investment banking experience, preferably within M&A or corporate finance advisoryFluency in both English and GreekStrong academic record with an undergraduate degree from a leading university; relevant postgraduate qualifications are advantageousExcellent accounting, corporate finance and valuation knowledgeAdvanced financial modelling and analytical skillsDemonstrated transaction execution experience and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneouslyStrong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environmentAbility to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast paced settingStrong project management, organisation and problem-solving capabilitiesHigh levels of professionalism, motivation and intellectual curiosityMilitary obligations fulfilled (if applicable) Benefits of working at Bank of America:
