Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Project & Program Support Assist in the implementation of site-wide safety initiatives, including safety training programs and health awareness campaigns.Support the coordination of EHS-related audits, including gathering data for environmental compliance (waste, water, and emissions tracking).Help maintain EHS management system documentation and records to ensure audit readiness. 2. Environmental Compliance Support waste management programs, including hazardous and non-hazardous waste tracking and recycling initiatives.Assist in the monitoring of environmental KPIs, such as energy usage, water consumption, etc 3. Administrative & Engagement Support Assist in the preparation of safety communications, newsletters, and bulletin board content to increase employee awareness.Provide administrative support for safety committee meetings, including taking minutes and tracking follow-up actions.
Required Qualifications Currently pursuing a Degree in in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), Industrial Hygiene, or a closely related field.Knowledge: Foundational understanding of safety standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001) and basic environmental regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data tracking and report generation.Ability to learn and utilize EHS digital management software.Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to interact effectively with employees at all levels.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends. o High level of integrity and commitment to safety culture. Availability: Must be able to commit to a 6-month full-time internship program
