Labcorp is seeking a Benefits Analyst to join our team at Durham, NC with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule!

Job Responsibilities:

Benefits Administration

Serve as subject matter expert for benefit programsAdminister health, welfare, retirement, and voluntary benefit programsSupport HSA, FSA, commuter, COBRA, and wellness programsResolve employee benefit inquiries through case management toolsPartner with HR and internal teams to ensure smooth operationsAssist with Annual Enrollment planning and execution, including testing, communications, and issue tracking Compliance

Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS, DOL, ACA, HIPAA regulationsSupport Form 5500 filings, nondiscrimination testing, and required noticesParticipate in audits and maintain documentationSupport Vendor Risk Assessments (VRAs) Data, Reporting & Analysis

Develop and maintain reports and dashboardsPerform advanced Excel analysis (pivot tables, reconciliation, trends)Conduct payroll and benefits deduction auditsSupport benchmarking and survey submissionsDrive process and operational improvements HR Technology & Integrations

Partner with HR Technology, Payroll, and vendors on integrations and data feedsTroubleshoot integration errors and data discrepanciesSupport system testing including annual enrollmentIdentify automation opportunities Vendor Management

Support vendor relationships and issue resolutionParticipate in vendor implementations and renewalsWork with consultants and brokers on program delivery Financial & Audit Support

Support benefit funding and billing reconciliationValidate enrollment and eligibility accuracyAssist with retirement plan funding and reporting Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field3 or more years of benefits experience Preferred Qualifications:

1 or more years' experience with Workday or similar HCM Systems1 or more years' experience with benefits integrations1 or more years' experience with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, IRS regulations Additional Job Standards

Critical thinking and sound judgment with ability to analyze and resolve problems.Highly effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with all levels of leadership,Ability to collaborate cross-functionally working with various internal and external partnersHigh attention to detailAdvanced Excel skills The Benefits Analyst, U.S. is responsible for the administration, compliance, and continuous improvement of employee benefit programs, including health & welfare, retirement, and voluntary benefits. Partners with HR, Payroll, HR Technology and external vendors to ensure accurate delivery, regulatory compliance, and a high-quality employee experience. Supports data analysis, reporting, system integrations, and vendor management.

Applicants who live within 35 miles of either the Burlington, NC or Durham, NC location will follow a hybrid schedule. This schedule includes a minimum of three in-office days per week at an assigned location, either Burlington or Durham, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
