ELS is hiring for the position of Irrigation Specialist in Margate, Florida.
What we are looking for:
The Irrigation Technician performs various maintenance duties requiring technical labor skills, including but not limited to, irrigation repairs and adjustments, electrical knowledge for pumps and switches and timers, plumbing, light carpentry/construction, and pump repair. The Irrigation Specialist also works as a team participant along with the maintenance engineer to ensure the community meets the quality maintenance standards set by els.
Your job will include: Report any maintenance concerns for repairs to the Property ManagerAssist Property Manager with special maintenance projects as necessaryAssist in maintaining grounds and common areas and keeping them free from trash and debrisMay assist in monitoring and/or controlling irrigation inventory and/or suppliesMove heavy objects as requestedWork closely with management and the maintenance engineer in developing an integral team at the property siteMaintain open communication with Resort Manager and StaffRemain professional in attitude at all timesPerform other duties as assigned
Experience & skills you need: High School diploma or equivalent1-3 years hands-on technical work experience in areas such as irrigation,plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etcIrrigation certifications a plusMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work with heavy equipmentValid driver's license and good driving record along with auto insurance
