As a Valuation Controller - Associate within Valuation Control, you will execute the price verification and benchmark process, including the calculation of fair value adjustments.
Job Responsibilities:
Execute price verification/benchmark process including the calculation of fair value adjustmentsAssist with various VCG established practices and control initiatives as well as perform necessary work relating to management reporting, regulatory mandates and consistency within the broader VCG frameworkPartner with various functional groups on valuation related issues and develop/implement appropriate measures with the goal of ensuring fair valueEnhance existing control framework including reviewing independent pricing processes, assessing potential coverage developments and implementing new tools to enhance control efficiencyOther value-added projects related to Business, Risk, and Finance initiatives Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
3+ years of related experienceAbility to understand complex products, and analyze transaction and process flowsUnderstanding of valuation concepts as they pertain to financial products and derivatives, basic accounting knowledgeStrong verbal and written communications skillsAbility to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
Undergraduate degree with finance and economics major preferredAnalytical and quantitative aptitude. Candidates with quantitative backgrounds preferredGraduate degree with finance, economics, mathematics, engineering a plusWork experience in financial industry a plusExperience with Python, DBx, SQL, SIGMA, AI Agents, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, automation and database skills a plus
