About this role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to support a broad range of tax accounting, compliance, and operational activities. This role will primarily focus on tax accounting and federal compliance, while also supporting state tax, international reporting, and audit activities.

The position will play a key role in ensuring accurate, audit-ready reporting, strong coordination with internal stakeholders, and effective collaboration with external advisors.

Located in Columbus, IN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Review federal tax provision schedules, supporting workpapers, and book-to-tax adjustmentsSupport preparation and review of quarterly and annual tax provisions, including variance analysis and effective tax rate (ETR) driversAssist with review of federal income tax returns and supporting workpapers, ensuring accuracy and completenessCoordinate data collection and information requests from Finance, Legal, Treasury, HR, external advisors, and other stakeholders to support tax accounting and compliance activities.Research and interpret tax laws, regulations, and administrative guidance to support tax positions, compliance obligations, and reporting requirementsAssist with preparation and documentation of the U.S. R&D tax credit and support evaluation of additional tax credit opportunitiesSupport state tax compliance and provision processes, including estimated payments and apportionmentAssist with audit responses, IDRs, and documentation requestsAssist with international compliance filings and related documentationSupport preparation of items such as tax residency certificates and information reportingSupport process improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the tax function. To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Strong analytical and technical tax research skillsAbility to interpret and apply tax law and regulatory guidanceDetail-oriented with strong focus on audit defensibility and documentationProven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesEffective cross-functional communication and collaboration skillsExperience working with external advisors and managing deliverables Education, Licenses, Certifications:

College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting required.Progress toward Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification preferred. Experience:

Intermediate level of relevant professional work experience in the field of study required.
