As a Home Lending Capital Markets Product Control Associate within Consumer & Community Banking, you'll support P&L and risk reporting for the asset-backed securitization and asset servicing businesses. Your expertise in derivative products and operational risk will be essential as you manage complex transactions and ensure robust processes throughout the product lifecycle. In this role, you will foster strong relationships across Finance, Market Risk, Technology, and Operations, helping to drive the business forward while developing your own skills in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist with daily P&L reporting and month-end close processesProvide detailed analysis and reporting on the financials to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance managementPartner with the business to drive forth and implement robust controls and new business initiativesDrive coordination across various front & back office support functions to ensure resolution of control and reporting issues in an accurate and timely mannerServe as an analytical and project support resource for product controlHandle various ad-hoc requests on a daily basis Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
3+ years within Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or related areaExperience doing P&L and month end close processSolid understanding of financial products including derivativesHigh proficiency using Microsoft Office including but not limited to Excel (VBA) and AccessBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related areaAbility and drive to improve current processes and achieve efficienciesStrong analytical skills and attention to detail including a strong control focusSelf-motivated and comfortable working with large amounts of dataExcellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships.
