Line of Business: Personal & Commercial Banking Job Description:

The Syndication Loan Specialist III (Middle Market Bought Loans) manages and administers a portfolio of loans from origination through to closing as well as performing data integrity and loan documentation reviews in accordance with Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

This is a HYBRID career opportunity, incumbent could report to either our Charlotte, Boston, Lewiston, or Mount Laurel office 4 times per week.

Monday-Friday - 8:00am to 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time

Depth & Scope:

Manages a loan pipeline from origination through to closing in accordance with Bank policies and proceduresProvides documentation and Bank policy and procedure guidance to all lending areasConducts searches and perform necessary due diligenceEnsures all applicable loan documentation is uploaded to image repository systemResolves more complex issues relating to closingsServes as a resource and assists with training Loan SpecialistsMay assist in performing supervisory tasksWorks independently and handles loans of the most complex nature along with heavily negotiated loan transactions ensuring all documentation are in compliancePerforms quality reviews on all complexity of loans to ensure data integrityPerforms documentation (standard and non-standard) review on all complexity of loans to reduce risk of loss and ensure policy and regulatory complianceVerifies all quality control procedures are maintained and monitoredEnsures all loans are closed without critical, noncritical or regulatory exceptionsEnsures all required loan conditions (insurance, collateral, etc.) are sufficient and properly documented and in compliance with bank policyManages/confirms TD changes are consistent with system requirementsEvaluates best course of action taking into account bank policy, regulatory requirements, impact to the customer, and impact to the bank as well as cost factorsManages/takes appropriate actions to ensure loans are booked and properly set-up if necessaryGenerate loan and maintains loan documentation from beginning to finish ensuring adherence with compliance with bank policy procedures regulatory requirements and lending conditionsEstablishes and manages relationships with applicable operations teams, relationship management team, credit offers and others as neededActs as liaison with bank counsel, compliance, asset based lending, leasing, government banking, derivatives, construction loan administration, brokers, international department, and various other parties to the loan as needed Education & Experience:

4 year degree or equivalent experience required5+ years related experience requiredKnowledge of specialized lending areas such as Small Business Administration lending, construction or syndicated loansProven ability to provide excellent Customer service to internal and external CustomersExcellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skillsExcellent PC skills with familiarity with standard office equipmentAbility to work in a fast-paced dynamic environmentDetail oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently in handling a heavy workloadPossesses strong organizational, analytical and decision-making skillsDemonstrated knowledge of loan documentation, title policies, appraisals, environmental assessments, entity formation documents and bank policies and proceduresParalegal experience/knowledge needed. This role is Syndication/Participation specific to Commercial and Specialty Lending.Strong knowledge, experience and understanding of all syndication loan documentation (Credit/Loan Agreements, Guaranty Agreements, Collateral documents),Complete understanding of the syndication loan process and exceptional attention to detail.
