Position Summary:
The Business Analyst II will be a part of the Reporting & Analytics team, supporting our clients in their reporting needs. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate and effective reporting is delivered to the Account Management team and MSP programs. This position may manage medium sized accounts as well as strategic accounts by acting as the liaison between the Reporting & Analytics team and Account Management for those assigned accounts. Responsibilities of this position also include various ad hoc reporting as requested by the client or Account Management team. Other responsibilities include maintaining detailed SOPs and a catalog of managed reports, as well as running and executing various reports using Excel or appropriate VMS according to provided SOPs. This person will be knowledgeable and capable of building VMS reports based on requirements provided.
When appropriate, the Business Analyst II will give direction to assigned Reporting Analyst, who will act as support to the Business Analysts on reporting requests. This may include creating various ad hoc requests or changing existing scheduled reports.
This role will also need to become proficient in Monumetrix, Monument's proprietary analytics tool. With this tool, the Business Analyst II is expected to be able to demo the tool, if / when needed, as well as use the tool for various analysis in support of his / her assigned clients.
Additionally, this role will partake in team training and department activities. Responsibilities
Perform accurate routine scheduled reporting via Excel or VMSCreate and/or modify existing Excel and VMS client reporting based on requirements providedDemonstrates critical thinking and provides meaningful analysis to supported program teamsGenerate, validate, and update client reporting SOPs as neededEnsure that work queue is being worked and deliverables delivered on timeManage reporting portfolio and provide analysis for assigned clientsWork to meet or exceed service level agreements and optimize reporting processes by recommending improvementsManage client implementations and data integrations as requestedMaintain compliance with company / department reporting and data policies and proceduresCommunicate reporting status and bring issues to appropriate stakeholdersParticipate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned Qualifications
Minimum 2-3 years in Reporting and / or Analytical environmentBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferredExpert Microsoft Excel skillsFamiliar with SQL coding languageStrong analytical skillset requiredStrong time management and prioritization skillsStrong problem solving and critical thinking skillsFluent in English Pay Range
