Executive Function Tutor - VHHS Overview: A Resource Executive Functioning Tutor will work one on one or in small groups with students identified by the MTSS process. Reports to: Assistant Principal for Student Services Employee status: Educational Support Personnel - Direct Paraprofessional ESP Bargaining Union Calendar: 178 Student Attendance Days, 7:45am - 3:45pm Qualifications: Paraprofessional License Experiences in educational/school setting is beneficial Background in personal organization and planning Professional/Personal Characteristics:
• Previous experience in an educational setting preferred
• Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
• Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently under varying deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to identify sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
• Proficient with Google G-Suite, office and phone equipment
• Ability to work as part of an educational team to support the needs of individual or groups of students
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide high-impact tutoring for identified students in executive functioning.
• Review executive functioning strategies and practices through individual and/or group tutoring.
• Collaborate with the MTSS team in the development and implementation of tutoring.
• New duties may be designed as the position evolves and/or further needs are identified.
