Job Type Description The successful applicant will teach social studies in grades 6-8, and perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned/needed.
Salary Schedule Berkeley Co. Teacher Pay Scale based on degree level and verified years of experience. 200 day employment term.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, and demonstrate the knowledge and ability to be a qualified and effective candidate for the vacancy. Holds or can obtain WV teacher certification in social studies for appropriate grade levels. Additional Job Information If a certified candidate is unavailable for this position, then an applicant who is eligible for a first-class permit, alternative certification, Teacher-in-Residence, or a perm sub can be considered.
