Springfield School District is accepting applications for a full-time position of Learning Assistant for Special Education, effective the 2026-2027 school year. This is a 10 month position, 7 hrs/day, 189 day school year. Minimum starting rate of $16.00/hr. with benefits and pension. In addition to the duties of a Learning Assistant, the person holding this Learning Assistant position may be responsible for the following areas: • Attend and participate in daily check in and weekly team meetings • Ongoing communication with case manager regarding inclusive environment • Implement Unique Learning System curriculum • Training in Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), focused on the prevention, de-escalation, and physical intervention of risk behaviors
