SUPERVISOR: Principal/Director of Pre-school QUALIFICATION:
• Must hold a valid Kentucky Teaching Certification in the area stated above
• Have the ability to develop and implement the IEP for individual students
• Ability to implement ALLSTARS Standards for Pre-school
• Administer required assessments
• Have knowledge of Kentucky Preschool Standards and Regulations
• Must have knowledge of curriculum and best teaching strategies for improving student learning as defined by KY Teaching Standards
• Must be available to participate in PD training sessions to increase Kindergarten Readiness Skills
• Must have knowledge/implementation of ARC meetings and Transition Process for students exiting First Steps
• Must have strong classroom management skills and the ability to communicate and establish routines appropriate for preschool students
• Have the ability to develop a positive, professional relationship with students, teachers, administrators, and parents
• Willingness to participate in extra-curricular activities related to RSES
• Must successfully complete all required employment forms/applications
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisors and required by regulations
• Render health services as necessary after appropriate training
