About this role
Primary Purpose Assist the Energy Manager in diagnosing, repairing, troubleshooting, and responding to the utility needs of the district's facilities. Qualifications Education/Certification/Licensure
• High school diploma or GED
• Texas driver's license and pass MVR driving record check - must meet eligibility requirements for CCISD motor vehicle insurance
Special Knowledge/Skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of computerized energy management
• Basic knowledge of hardware and software of building automation systems
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment such as digital volt meters, flowtronics
• Ability to work in confined areas
• Ability to pull and install DDC control cable
• Ability to work flexible schedule
Experience
• Minimum of 1 year of technical training or hands on experience in facilities energy management program
Major Responsibilities and Duties
• Assist the Energy Manager in the installation of DDC controls and other components to enhance the total energy management program.
• Program requested facility schedule for air conditioning and heating usage.
• Respond and assist the Energy Manager to determine appropriate temperature settings for work order requests.
