About this role

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct behavioral support services to students within a public school environment. Working under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the RBT implements individualized behavior intervention plans and instructional programs to support student learning and development. QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

• Familiarity with guidelines of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973;

• Minimum of one (1) year of job-related experience within the specialized field;

• Physical ability to implement behavioral interventions, including safely managing crisis situations

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Previous experience working with children or adolescents with autism spectrum disorder or developmental disabilities

• Experience in a school or educational setting

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

This is a 220-day position with insurance and retirement benefits. Salary will be determined by education, certification/licensure, and work experience.
