Direct Clinical Care and Specialized Procedures Invasive Medical Services: The School/ESE Nurse is responsible for performing the administration of any medication requiring intravenous or intramuscular injection, or the insertion of a medical device into the body, as prescribed by a physician. Healthcare Services: The School/ESE Nurse must specialize in health-related services, including but not limited to intermittent clean catheterization, gastrostomy tube feeding, and the monitoring of blood glucose levels.
