TITLE: 21st Century Community Learning Center QUALIFICATIONS:
• Certified Employee of Campbell County School District
• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Education
• Kentucky Teacher Certification
• Understanding of the components of a successful after school program
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong knowledge of Kentucky Core Academic Standards
REPORTS TO: 21st CCLC Project Coordinator SUPERVISES: Students JOB GOAL: Provide high quality educational enhancements through after-school programming PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Demonstrate belief that all students can and will learn
• Collaborate with school personnel, including teachers, counselors, school nurse, administrator to determine student needs
• Design and implement engaging and meaningful activities to enhance student learning
• Promote positive youth development through activities that increase student hope, engagement and well-being
• Maintain high expectations for instructional practices
• Attend all 21st CCLD Advisory Council Meetings
• Complete weekly activity plans and submit to Project Coordinator
• Manage daily attendance/participation reports
• Communicate student progress to regular classroom teachers on a bi-weekly basis.
• Attend mandatory professional development training as required
• Oversee the safety of all students served
• Promote program awareness with all stakeholders
• Assist in annual program review
• Assist in the recruitment of sponsorships to create grant sustainability
• Assist in strategic planning/program improvement work including quarterly implementation and impact checks.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
• $30.00 per hour
