Harts Bluff ISD is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Paraprofessional / Assistant Soccer & Cross Country Coach to join our team! Primary Purpose: Provide instructional assistance to students under the direct supervision of a certified teacher. Assist in preparing, conducting, and managing of classroom activities. Provide instruction and coach students to develop skills and ability to excel in assigned sport(s). Contribute to education program as a whole and to growth of students involved in athletics.
Qualifications: Education/Certification: High school diploma or hold a General Educational Development (GED) certificate Have met formal academic assessment, associate's degree, or two years of study at an institution of higher learning* Valid Texas educational aide certificate Special Knowledge/Skills: Ability to work well with children Ability to communicate effectively Knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures Knowledge of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules Ability to instruct and supervise student athletes Experience: Some experience working with students Some experience coaching or participant experience in sport assigned
