About this role

Educational Aide (*Paraprofessional) - Licking Regional Educational Service Center has a opening for an Educational Aide to assist with Special Needs students in the Heath City School District. Applicants must be willing to complete a BCI and FBI background check and hold, or be willing to obtain, an Educational Aide Permit with ESEA Endorsement through the Ohio Department of Education. Candidates should be team oriented, have a desire to learn new things and be willing to take instruction. Self-motivation is highly desired as are honesty, integrity and confidentiality. Qualifications: *Paraprofessional applicants must have, or be willing to obtain, a valid Educational Aide Permit through the Ohio Department of Education. Upon hire you will be required to take the Paraprofessional PRAXIS test unless you hold an associate degree (or higher) from an accredited institution of higher education; or at least two years of study at an accredited institution of higher education (defined as 48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours) in which case, you can choose to add the ESEA endorsement to the Educational Aide Permit after uploading your transcripts into your OH:ID account.
