About this role
Essex North Shore is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Teacher in English to cover a staff member's leave of absence. This position will span from September 21, 2026, through December 21, 2026. Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or a related humanities field.
• Previous teaching experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a high level of proficiency with technology.
• Bilingual candidates are preferred.
• CORI, SORI, and SAFIS required.
Terms and Conditions of Employment:
• Non-benefits-eligible, at-will position.
• Compensation is subject to the Superintendent's discretion in accordance with the School Committee's approved policies and procedures.
