About this role
GENERAL DUTIES: Coach Varsity Cheerleading Team & Pep Squad QUALIFICATIONS:
• Valid Connecticut coaching permit or eligibility to obtain required certification
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Completion of required concussion training
• Knowledge of and/or experience coaching cheerleading
• Ability to work effectively with high school student-athletes
• Ability to foster and model positive sportsmanship
• Knowledge of and ability to fulfill the CIAC Class Act responsibilities for coaches
• Ability to work collaboratively with and effectively lead sub-varsity coaches
• Demonstrated ability to promote the values and expectations of the New Fairfield High School Athletic Department
