Job description: Third Future Schools is a high-achieving and growing network of charter schools. The network's schools in Killeen, TX, Manor, Middle School, is looking for an ARD Facilitator. The ARD Facilitator responsibilities include:
• Draft and finalize ARD meeting documents, including Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance (PLAAFPs), goals/objectives, accommodations/modifications, and service pages.
• Ensure all paperwork aligns with IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act), state education regulations, and district guidelines.
• Collaborate with teachers and service providers to gather accurate and relevant data for each student's IEP.
• Attend ARD meetings (virtually or in person) as needed to support documentation and compliance.
• Maintain confidential student records in a secure and organized manner.
• Enter and update IEP information into district databases and student information systems (e.g., eSped, SEIS, Frontline).
• Monitor timelines and deadlines to ensure all ARDs are conducted within legally mandated timeframes.
• Assist with translating technical educational language into parent-friendly terms where needed.
• Support case managers and administrators in preparing for ARD meetings, including draft review and edits.
• Participate in training and professional development to stay current with legal requirements and best practices in special education documentation.
• Communicate with and engage parents and families to support student learning and habits of success
• Expand personal leadership skills
• Participate in professional learning communities and function well as part of a team
• Perform other duties as assigned
