Teacher On Special Assignment (TOSA) - Dean of Students | 1.0 FTE | 10 month calendar | R.A. • Round 1 Initial Interviews: August 7, 2026
• Round 2 Full Interview Team: August 10, 2026
• Round 3 Interviews: August 11, 2026
GENERAL DUTIES: The Dean of Students collaborates with the administrative team for the overall leadership at each school. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• A valid State of Oregon Teaching License appropriate for the position
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• The ability to follow oral and written instructions
• The ability to effectively work and communicate with students, parents, and school personnel from diverse cultures and/or backgrounds
• The ability to work harmoniously with others
• Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
• Proficient in the use of computer and Internet based applications, including but not limited to email and systems applications
• The ability to learn new automated systems as they are brought online by the District
• Completed, or currently enrolled in, administrative credential program
• Maintain integrity of confidential information relating to students, staff, or district patrons
• Hold a valid certificate in a District approved student intervention system or be able to obtain in 60 days
• Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred (bilingual is defined as fluency in reading, writing and speaking two languages as determined by District screening tool)
