POSITION:
• Paraprofessional II (LEAP) (Van Paraprofessional-Special Assignment) • 4 hr-combination am & pm • 6:45 am 8:45 am & 1:20 pm 3:20 pm • This position is a one-year, non-renew contract for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning August 19, 2026. ROUTE: LEAP Program at Mid-Ohio Educational Center-Mansfield, OH QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have completed at least two years of study at an institution of higher learning, OR hold an associate's degree, OR have passed the Teacher Parapro praxis exam. • Must possess experience working with children with multiple and behavioral disabilities. Some heavy lifting required. • Must complete CPI and Safety & Violence Training within the first 60 days of accepting position. • Must obtain an Educational Aide Permit with ESEA Qualifications through ODE prior to the first day of employment. SPECIAL NOTES:
• Position requires the ability to work with special needs students. • Physical ability to handle wheel chairs and other equipment related to special needs students. • The student's family may elect to stop their student attending school at any given time during this school year. This would void the contract.
