JOB DESCRIPTION: The Kennett School District seeks applicants for Business Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Position Title Business Education Teacher Qualifications Applicants need to have a Missouri teacher certification, vocational certification, or be elligable for certification. Reports to Building-level Administrators Terms of Employment Teacher contract PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To develop in each student an understanding of the American business system and its place in the nation's economy.
• To provide knowledge needed for intelligent consumption of business services.
• To develop practical business skills for personal use or for use in business occupation.
• To encourage students to develop work and personal habits essential for success in business.
• To provide knowledge about business, leading to the development of student skills sufficient to qualify for entry-level employment and/or post-secondary education.
• Teaches knowledge and skills in one or more of the following subjects to secondary students—keyboarding, accounting I and II, record keeping, office procedures, business law, business communication, basic business, consumer math, computer applications.
