About this role

Salary: £36,500 - 36,500 per year

Requirements: We welcome candidates with degrees in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering disciplines, Computer Science, or other STEM subjects with a strong mathematical and analytical focus.We are looking for curious, analytical, and technically minded graduates, particularly those from Physics and mathematically intensive STEM backgrounds.You should enjoy solving complex, open-ended problems.You should like experimenting with technology, such as coding projects, building electronics, or simulations.You should take initiative and enjoy exploring new concepts independently.You should be able to learn advanced technical ideas quickly.You should work well both collaboratively and independently.You should have strong attention to detail and an interest in precision engineering.You should be comfortable asking questions and suggesting improvements.You should be able to build rapport with people from diverse disciplines, including software developers and RF engineers.You must undergo UK Security Vetting due to the sensitive nature of the work. Responsibilities: Complete a 12-week intensive training programme before joining the project team.Learn signal processing and algorithms.Learn computer architectures and embedded systems.Learn C++ programming for high-performance applications.Learn DevOps tools and workflows.Apply physical modelling and mathematical reasoning to real engineering challenges.Participate in onsite induction, networking, and introductory learning in Week 1.Complete remote technical and consultative training with structured learning and guided self-study during Weeks 2–6.Complete onsite training embedded in a live project environment in Guildford during Weeks 7–12.Join a growing team of engineers and software developers at our Guildford office after training.Work on innovative, mission-critical technology across high-performance software, electronic engineering, signal processing, and embedded systems. This role is based in Guildford, with training delivered partly remote and partly onsite, and placement at our Guildford office upon completion.
