Salary: £60,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements: Commercial experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or Infrastructure Engineering supporting production software.Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins or similar tools.Excellent knowledge of Docker and containerised application deployment.Experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Ansible, Terraform or equivalent.Scripting experience using Python, Bash or similar.Strong Linux administration skills.Experience deploying software into on-premises or restricted infrastructure environments.Familiarity with messaging platforms and relational databases such as RabbitMQ, MariaDB or equivalent technologies.Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance. Responsibilities: Design, build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, testing and release processes.Develop and improve deployment and upgrade automation using Infrastructure as Code principles.Build and manage development, integration and pre-production environments.Automate environment provisioning to ensure consistency and repeatability.Create and maintain monitoring, health checks and deployment reporting across multiple environments.Develop tooling and documentation that enables engineering teams to deploy and manage software independently.Work closely with development teams to improve build reliability, deployment efficiency and operational resilience.Maintain version control, traceability and release management processes across the software lifecycle.Contribute to capacity planning and continuous improvement of the engineering platform.
