Salary: £60,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements: Strong commercial experience developing React Native applications using TypeScript.Experience architecting and delivering production mobile applications.Confidence owning technical decisions from design through to release.Experience working with APIs and backend integrations.Strong understanding of mobile performance, testing and application lifecycle management.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across Engineering, Product and Design.Confidence using modern AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and code quality.Experience working with B2B SaaS products or high-availability production environments would be beneficial, although not essential. Responsibilities: Architect and build a greenfield React Native application for iOS and Android.Establish scalable engineering standards, testing strategy and CI/CD practices.Work closely with backend Ruby on Rails engineers to design API contracts and seamless integrations.Take ownership of technical decisions around performance, scalability, accessibility and maintainability.Collaborate with Product and Design to translate product goals into technical delivery.Identify risks, manage technical debt and help shape the long-term roadmap for the mobile platform.Drive engineering quality whilst remaining hands-on throughout development.Own the end-to-end delivery of a new React Native application, helping define the technical architecture and engineering practices around it.
