Salary: £60,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements: Solid experience in vulnerability management using tools such as Qualys or Rapid7 InsightVM.Strong background in incident response and SOC operations, ideally with exposure to SIEM platforms such as Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel.Working knowledge of network security, including firewalls, IDS, RBAC, LAN/WAN/SD-WAN, and platforms such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco.Exposure to OT or industrial control systems is a strong advantage.Confidence advising and pushing back on stakeholders across a global organisation.A degree in IT or equivalent hands-on experience. Responsibilities: Own incident monitoring and response for EMEA operations.Classify, prioritise, and escalate security events, driving them through to root cause and closure.Lead vulnerability management end to end, including assessments, validation, remediation, and patching.Assess and certify servers, endpoints, and network infrastructure for compliance with security requirements.Implement and enforce security controls across ICT systems, including access management and RBAC.Advise project teams on security risk and approve or block changes based on assessed impact.Extend security oversight into OT environments, including incident response and compliance validation. We are an established global organisation with a small EMA team based just outside Glasgow. This is a hands-on infrastructure and operational security role with a hybrid working pattern of 3 days on site in Glasgow.
