Salary: £23,500 - 42,500 per year
Requirements: Demonstrable foundational knowledge in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C# or JavaScript.Basic understanding of software development principles and methodologies.Familiarity with cloud computing concepts or platforms.Strong problem-solving abilities and a logical approach to technical challenges.Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning.Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree programme in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Experience with version control systems such as Git.Ability to demonstrate active listening and adapt to new situations and technologies.Understanding of basic business acumen and how software solutions contribute to organisational goals.Prior personal or academic project experience showcasing coding abilities. Responsibilities: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code under the supervision of senior developers.Participate in code reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback to improve code quality.Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications and features.Contribute to the testing and debugging of software to ensure functionality and performance.Learn and apply new programming languages, frameworks, and tools relevant to project needs.Collaborate effectively with team members and other stakeholders on project tasks.Document technical specifications, processes, and user guides for developed features.Research industry best practices and emerging technologies to support continuous improvement.
