Salary: £70,000 - 100,000 per year
Requirements: Active Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance is required.We require 10+ years of UK residency.Deep experience with enterprise or operator-scale routing design using protocols such as OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, LDP, or RSVP.Strong knowledge of LAN switching in small-to-medium enterprise and data centre environments, including RSTP/MSTP, LAG, MC-LAG, SPB, and first-hop security.Practical expertise implementing network security standards, including MACSEC, IPSEC, and 802.1x.Hands-on experience with security design, firewall management, and IDS/IPS configuration. Responsibilities: Design, build, test, validate, maintain, and support secure network architecture across enterprise and data centre environments.Support mission-critical infrastructure projects that protect critical national infrastructure and global defense capabilities.Deploy new network technologies to support enterprise and remote site connectivity in line with strategic customer requirements.Maintain global network standards across wireless, LAN, and SD-WAN environments.Manage physical and virtual hardware setups, including routers, switches, firewalls, and monitoring tools.Implement high-grade network security protocols and manage firewall and IDS/IPS configurations.
