Salary: £80,000 - 90,000 per year
Requirements: Advanced T-SQL development, including stored procedures, views, functions, triggers, query optimisation, and performance tuningExperience with SQL Agent jobs, database troubleshooting, data modelling, and schema designExperience with ETL development and integration tooling such as SSIS or equivalentExperience with batch processing, data validation and reconciliation, and file-based integration processingExperience with SFTP, automated file transfers, and large-scale data extraction and transformationExperience with SSRS, Power BI, management information reporting, data visualisation, and automated report generation and distributionExperience with Azure DevOps or Git, source control, release deployment, code promotion across environments, automated testing practices, and CI/CD principlesExperience with Python, PowerShell, Azure Data Factory, or Azure SQLA working understanding of Exposure Management, Catastrophe Modelling, and/or Underwriting processes is advantageousAwareness of portfolio modelling, pricing tools, and risk aggregation concepts is desirableFamiliarity with London Market insurance practices is desirable Responsibilities: Provide technical support for FPED, Moodys RiskLink/Risk Modeler, Verisk Sequel Impact, and related Exposure Management applicationsMonitor and investigate failed runs, failed jobs, data quality issues, and production incidentsDevelop and maintain SQL processes, stored procedures, automations, and data integrationsSupport and own timetables relating to month-end reporting and aggregation activitiesSupport deployment, testing, and release management activitiesMaintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support runbooksDrive automation initiatives to reduce manual intervention and operational riskProvide technical input into product backlog refinement, solution design, and continuous improvement initiativesCollaborate with Analysts, Architects, and QA to support and deliver enhancements to Exposure Management systemsMonitor and maintain existing systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure optimal efficiency and uptimeDrive operational efficiency across Exposure Management by developing tools and proposing system enhancementsCreate detailed knowledge repository documentation relating to key systemsBuild close and collaborative relationships with the Exposure Management team Technologies: AzureCI/CDDevOpsETLGitSupportPower BIPowerShellPythonSQLSSISCloudMatrix More:
