Salary: £90,000 - 100,000 per year
Requirements: Proven experience in a Senior or Lead Data Scientist role, preferably in sports, gaming, or a similar environment.A track record of mentoring teams and leading technical projects.A degree (BSc/MSc) in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.Strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience using frameworks such as Scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.Experience with cloud platforms or distributed computing, with GCP preferred but AWS or Azure also welcome.Exposure to neural networks is a plus.A genuine interest in sports and data-driven decision making. Responsibilities: Design and deploy predictive models and machine learning solutions that power real-time markets.Work hands on with cutting-edge datasets, AI techniques, and scalable data pipelines.Identify patterns and insights that directly influence live business decisions.Collaborate closely with engineers, analysts, and platform teams to optimise performance and reliability.Drive best practice and mentor or coach across the Data Science function.
