About the role At NNE, we design and build some of the most advanced pharmaceutical facilities in the world. As a Senior IT/OT Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering the infrastructure that enables industrial automation, manufacturing execution, data collection, and digital operations across large-scale life science projects. You will join a team of highly skilled engineers working at the intersection of IT, Operational Technology (OT), Automation, and Cybersecurity, helping our customers create robust, compliant, and future-ready production environments. As a Senior IT/OT Infrastructure Engineer, you will act as a technical subject matter expert, driving infrastructure solutions from concept through design, implementation, commissioning, and handover. The role requires a high degree of independence, technical leadership, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. You will be expected to take ownership of technical solution areas, support knowledge sharing within the team, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure high-quality technical deliveries. Location Denmark - Kalundborg Experience 4-5 years Department IT & OT Infrastructure How you might spend your days As a Senior IT/OT Infrastructure Engineer, you'll: Design secure and scalable IT/OT infrastructure solutions for pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. Engineer industrial networks, server environments, and virtualization platforms. Configure and integrate infrastructure with OT, automation, and manufacturing systems. Resolve complex infrastructure, integration, and cybersecurity challenges. Lead technical reviews, commissioning activities, and customer handovers. Who you are We care about who you are as a person. If you do not meet all the qualifications listed below, you are welcome to offer alternative experience that you think would be valuable in this role: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Automation, or a related discipline. Significant experience within IT/OT infrastructure engineering. Strong understanding of industrial networking and infrastructure architectures. Experience with virtualization and server platforms. Experience working in project-based engineering environments. Skills and experience: Industrial cybersecurity and ISA-95 / IEC 62443 principles. Cisco networking technologies. VMware virtualization. Microsoft Server technologies and Active Directory. OT platforms and automation environments.
