Acting as the voice of the customer within VTO and the voice of VTO towards customers, the function ensures that market needs, customer insights, and business priorities are translated into a compelling product vision and roadmap. It steers the product portfolio, investment decisions, budgets, and key cross-functional initiatives to maximize value creation and long-term performance. In essence, the Product Line function aligns the organization around clear priorities, enabling efficient execution, innovation, and sustainable growth while delivering superior customer value. Responsibilities As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic direction, competitiveness, and business performance of key product families within the Vestas onshore portfolio. Working across the end-to-end value chain, you will connect customer needs, market insights, technology development, and business priorities to ensure we continue to deliver industry-leading solutions. This is a highly visible role requiring strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to create alignment and drive results across a global organization. Own the strategy, roadmap, and business performance of assigned product families, ensuring alignment with customer needs, market opportunities, and company objectives Identify growth opportunities and define initiatives that strengthen competitiveness, improve customer value, and drive profitable business outcomes Act as the voice of the customer by translating market insights and operational challenges into clear product priorities and value propositions Lead cross-functional alignment across engineering, manufacturing, operations, sales, and service to ensure successful execution of strategic priorities Drive informed decision-making priorities through robust business cases, performance tracking, and clear recommendations to senior leadership Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in renewable energy, electric utilities, industrial manufacturing, or other complex technology-driven industries Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives, products, portfolios, or businesses with measurable commercial impact Strong business and financial acumen, including experience developing business cases, growth strategies, and investment recommendations Experience working effectively across multiple functions and stakeholder groups in a global environment Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decisions at senior leadership levels Competencies Demonstrated ownership mentality with a focus on delivering measurable business results Ability to lead through influence, creating alignment and momentum without formal authority Strong decision-making capability, balancing data, business judgement, and customer value Collaborative and resilient leader who thrives in complexity and drives progress through ambiguity Strategic thinker with a strong customer and market orientation What we offer This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of onshore wind energy while contributing to the global energy transition.
