About this role

Banking hasn't changed much in decades. We're changing that. One product at a time.

Lunar is a Nordic challenger bank building the future of financial life with AI at the core. Our engineers, designers, and product people work on problems that actually matter. Making money simpler, smarter, and more rewarding for millions of people across the Nordics.

Fully licensed and founded in 2015, with offices in Copenhagen, Aarhus and Stockholm.

We move fast, we build with purpose, and we're just getting started.

As our new Financial Crime Risk & Requirements Officer you'll join the Moonrise team within Financial Crime Risk Management, based in Copenhagen or Aarhus, reporting to Camilla Skov, Director of Financial Crime Risk Management, working to keep Lunar's transaction monitoring capability robust, compliant, and operationally sharp as we scale.

What will you do?

Review, triage, and clear transaction monitoring alerts — assessing each case against applicable AML/CTF red flags and documenting to an audit-ready standard

Drive SLA recovery by systematically working through the existing alert backlog with focus and precision

Take ownership of the alert queue

Investigate transaction patterns and customer behaviour to identify financial crime indicators, escalating cases meeting the SAR threshold in line with internal procedures

Work closely with the functional lead and senior team members to sharpen alert handling quality, documentation standards, and day-to-day workflows

What are we looking for in you?

Experience in AML/CTF and transaction monitoring, ideally from a fintech, bank, or financial institution — correspondent banking or banking services background is a plus

Familiarity with transaction monitoring systems, alert clearing workflows, and red-flag investigation

Strong analytical skills — you can tell the difference between a systemic issue and an isolated false positive, and you act accordingly

Comfortable managing a high-volume caseload under pressure without letting quality slip

Fluent in English, both written and spoken, and collaborative by nature — you contribute constructively and adapt as priorities shift

What you get (aka. Benefits and perks)

4 days in the office. We're a team that builds together, thinks together, and moves together. Showing up is part of how we work.

State of the art equipment. The newest computer, monitor, mouse, and keyboard. We want you to do your best work without anything slowing you down.

Pension, health insurance, and enhanced parental leave. From your financial future to your family moments. We've got you covered.
