We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Attendance Support Officer to join our dedicated pastoral team. This is a rewarding role for someone who is passionate about improving outcomes for young people and ensuring every student has the best possible chance to thrive.
The successful candidate will:
Be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Have the ability to build positive and professional relationships with students, parents, carers and external agencies. Be highly organised, with strong administrative and ICT skills. Have the ability to analyse and interpret attendance data and produce accurate reports. Be able to work independently, prioritise effectively and manage competing demands. Demonstrate resilience, professionalism and a commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing. Have experience of working with young people and families (desirable). Hold GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics. Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle, as regular travel forms part of the role. This role involves a combination of attendance monitoring, data analysis, family liaison, home visits and supporting the wider pastoral provision of the school.

You will work closely with the Education Welfare Officer, pastoral leaders, families and external agencies to ensure students receive the support they need to be successful in school.
