We are looking for a caring, committed, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at Birch Hill Primary School. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children—supporting their learning, development, and wellbeing across the school community. You’ll play a key role in helping pupils thrive both academically and socially in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
In this varied and fulfilling role, you will:
Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences for pupils. Work with small groups or individual children to reinforce learning and support progress. Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of resources, and day-to-day routines. Work flexibly across different classes and year groups, supporting teachers and pupils to create a positive and inclusive learning environment Foster strong, nurturing relationships with children, encouraging their independence, confidence, and engagement in learning We are looking for someone who:
Is passionate about supporting children with a range of needs. Is enthusiastic, patient, and passionate about supporting children’s learning Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills Can build positive, trusting relationships with children and staff Is reliable, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team Can show initiative and a proactive approach to supporting learning and wellbeing The successful candidate will:

Birch Hill Primary School (BHP) Birch Hill Primary School is a two-form entry community school serving the Birch Hill and Hanworth areas of Bracknell Forest. In addition to the main school, we offer a nursery and a Specialist Resource Provision for children with ASD and MLD.
