About this role
Birley Spa Primary Academy, part of L.E.A.D. Academy Trust, is seeking a caring and reliable Midday Supervisor to join our friendly team. This role is vital in supporting our pupils during the lunchtime period, ensuring a safe, happy, and inclusive environment both in the dining hall and on the playground.
Key responsibilities:
Supervising children in the dining hall, playground, and around the school site during lunchtimeEncouraging positive behaviour and play, helping pupils to develop social skillsPromoting the school’s values and safeguarding the welfare of all pupilsAssisting with minor first aid (training provided)Ensuring the lunchtime period runs smoothly and safely

Enjoys working with children and is approachable, patient, and kindHas good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a teamIs reliable, punctual, and committed to supporting the school communityWill promote inclusion and respect across all groups of pupils
