Parkside Community School are seeking to appointment enthusiastic and experienced Teaching & Learning Assistants, Level 2, to provide effective support for students with SEND and support the delivery of a differentiated curriculum as directed by the SEND Manager.
GCSE level of education A-C or equivalent (to include EM) /A levelsA good level of appropriate ICT skillsExperience of supporting young learners in an organisational settingExperience of working with pupils within an agreed behaviour management policyClear understanding of the Key stage 3 and 4 national curriculumWork constructively as part of a teamAbility to relate well to children and adultsGood written and spoken communication skillsGood organisational skillsUnderstanding of how data is used at KS3 and KS4An understanding of individual learning stylesAbility to identify potential barriers to learning and engage in strategies to overcome these barriersAbility to maintain student records and feedback to relevant staffAbility to employ a range of coaching skills including group workKnowledge, understanding and commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion informed by practical experience and applicationKnowledge, understanding and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of studentsAbility to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with studentsWhat we offer:

Hours of Work Mon -Fri 8.30am - 3.05pm. 28 hours per week
*Wednesday fortnightly CPD meeting 3.05pm to 4.05pm
