About this role
Belleville Wix Academy is a primary school situated between Lavender Hill and Clapham Common, in Clapham/Battersea.
We are currently seeking a receptionist/administrator to join our busy and friendly school office team. The role is varied, consisting of supporting the school with all administrative tasks and reception duties, welcoming visitors and liaising with all members of the local community.
Hours
You will work Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week, 41 weeks per year (term time plus two weeks in summer holidays), 8:00am to 4:00/5:00 pm (finish time negotiable).
We are looking for:
Someone with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, a cheerful attitude and plenty of enthusiasm, who can work under pressure and use their own initiative. You must be able to communicate positively and professionally in person, over the telephone and in writing. Computer competency and a good telephone manner are essential. Experience of working in a similar role is desirable but not essential, as training will be given on the job.
