About this role
Part or Full Time | London-based | PhD Required

St Mellitus College is a single national theological education institution with teaching centres located across England with a vision to see theologically confident and committed followers of Jesus in every church. We seek to provide innovative theological education and training for those called to serve Christ in the church and the world, offering vibrant and rigorous, high quality academic and ministerial formation to a wide range of students.
We are looking for an experienced educator to join our London academic team to teach and inspire students preparing for ministry and mission. This role combines missiology teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes alongside serving as a Formation Group Tutor, providing pastoral support, mentoring and ministerial formation for students preparing for a wide range of ministries. This person will have a passion for theology that transforms lives, churches and communities.
We are particularly interested in candidates with a PhD in a field relevant to missiology who are able to teach across a range of subjects such as, but not limited to, mission, apologetics, evangelism, interfaith, church planting, and ecclesiology. We especially welcome applications from candidates with experiences and characteristics which are underrepresented in theological education.
