Flexible Working

We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis (e.g. job share), despite the position being advertised as full-time.

The Department of Psychology has a fantastic opportunity for an Undergraduate Programmes Officer to join our excellent team and help us create a vibrant student experience.

This exciting position will support our undergraduate students from their pre-arrival through their journey with us.

The post holder will be responsible for overseeing academic progression requirements, arranging undergraduate events, managing the submission of student work, reviewing attendance monitoring, maintaining student records, and supporting student engagement events including occasional Open Days. They will be the first point of contact for both undergraduate students and will be responsible for providing advice, information and support to them.

About You

The successful candidate will have a good standard of general education (A-Level or equivalent) and will have experience of working as part of a team in a busy customer-focused administrative environment. Excellent communication and organisation skills coupled with the ability to pay attention to detail are essential, as is the ability to demonstrate a good understanding of administrative processes. Experience of working in a student-facing role within Higher Education would be advantageous.

We want to ensure that our students have the best chance of success, and we are keen to recruit the very best talent. If you are passionate about students’ learning and development, committed, and would love to work in an exciting and diverse university environment – come and join us!

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual wishing to extend and further develop their skills in an academic environment, whilst learning about a growing strategically important department at the University of Warwick.
