Job summary
An opportunity has risen to join Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust Colposcopy Clinical Nurse Specialist Team on a fixed 12-month term.The role is ideal for a BSCCP-accredited practitioner who is keen to further develop their expertise in colposcopy and women's health within a dedicated and experienced team.
The ideal candidate will hold full BSCCP accreditation, have experience in gynaecology and/or women's health. Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. Be motivated, flexible and able to work both independently and part of a multidisciplinary team. You will be expected to work collaboratively with clinicians and administrative staff and fellow gynaecology nurses.

Main duties of the job
Provide a high-quality assessment, diagnostic examination for women referred to the colposcopy service without direct medical supervision/independently but in accordance with local and BSCCP National Guidelines. Act as a resource for women referred and clinical and administrative teams by provision of comprehensive advice, information, teaching within ICHT To act as a resource for patients, GP's and colleagues with ICHT via telephone and email advice line. Review patient diagnostic laboratory results, interpreting and actioning clinician instructions. Contribute to formulating reports and clinical audit of own practice, service and outcomes. Active involvement in the development of the Gynaecology service Active involvement in improving patient pathway and experience
