Job summary

Join Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust as a Band 3 Support Worker in our Community Bridging Service!

Please note you need to have a full UK Driving Licence for this role.

This vacancy is for 2 Part Time Positions.

Post 1 - 28 hours per week (3x 6hr Shifts and 2x 5 hour shifts)

Post 2 - 24 hours per week (2x 6 hour shits and 3x 4 hour shifts)

Early shifts start at 8am so you may be working 8-12, 8-1 or 8-2 depending on your shift pattern. Late shifts finish at 9pm so you may be working 4-9 or 5-9 depending on your shift pattern.

Main duties of the job

To provide high quality care to clients under the indirect supervision of Team manager within the community bridging service. To support clients with activities of daily living in a clients home Ensure high standards are maintained in a safe environment, which promotes equality and sensitivity for all individuals To participate in continuous professional development and other team activities Carry out a range of duties within agreed competency skill set e.g. meal prep To ensure that all patients on the caseload are safe.

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

Level 2 Apprenticeship in Care (or relevant subject) or a minimum of 1yr experience in health and social care setting GCSE maths and English (or equivalent)

Desirable

Level 3 Apprenticeship in Care (or relevant subject) Care certificate

Experience Essential

Previous experience in care eg as HCA Safe moving and handling experience

Desirable

Previous community experience Complex moving and handling experience

Skills & Knowledge Essential

Moving and handling of clients Personal care to clients in a person-centred manner Follow clear instructions and feedback to senior staff Work safely with minimal supervision

Desirable

Knowledge of some medical conditions / exercise therapy Good interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written

Special Requirements Essential

Hold a full UK Driving Licence
