Main duties of the job As a Care Home Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead at Barchester Healthcare, you will be integral to maintaining the high quality of care that the brand is known for. In this role, you will work alongside the General Manager and undertake leadership duties during their absence. Your responsibilities will include ensuring care standards are met, motivating and inspiring your team, conducting regular audits, and supervising clinical practices. You will lead by example to ensure every resident enjoys the highest quality of life possible. The role requires you to be a Registered Nurse with a current NMC registration, and you should have a teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification. Experience in managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments is also essential. You should possess a strong understanding of HR, sales and marketing, and budget management. Furthermore, supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship is part of the role.
