We are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at Fforestfach Medical Group. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse looking for a longterm role within a wellestablished, patientcentred General Practice.
We are looking to fill between 30 and 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility for the right candidate(s), and we would be very happy to discuss working arrangements that suit both the successful applicant and the practice.
The successful candidate must have prior experience working as a Practice Nurse within General Practice and be competent across core practice nursing duties. Experience in cervical screening and chronic disease management is essential.

About us
Fforestfach Medical Centre is a well established GP Practice situated in the heart of Swansea, close to the Gower Peninsula. Located in an area of economic growth and with a diverse population. The group itself is made up of two Partnerships; Sartori & Partners and Bensusan & Partners, each with individual patient lists. We have 10 Partners, 4 salaried GP's and have a supportive clinical team of Practice Nurses, HCAs and an INR HCA, with excellent admin and Management support. We are part of Penderi cluster with a growing MDT and patient services. We are a highly respected teaching Practice for GP Registrars and Medical Students. Many of our Partners have gone on to work for us after training. Our growing practice list sizes are 7,600 and 6,600 respectively.

The successful candidate will join an established nursing team and work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team, while also being able to work autonomously.
You will be expected to work in line with practice protocols, local and national guidelines, ensuring patients receive safe, effective, and highquality care tailored to their individual health needs.

The post holder will be expected to deliver care in accordance with practice protocols, as well as local and national clinical guidelines, ensuring patients receive safe, effective, and high-quality care that is tailored to their individual health needs. The successful candidate will maintain high professional standards, contribute to continuous service improvement, and support the delivery of patient-centred care across the practice.
Qualifications Essential
GCSE Grade 1 to C in English and Maths Nursing degree and NMC Registered Nurse Management of chronic diseases Cervical Cytology Applicants should ideally already have the essential skills and experience required of a Practice Nurse. However, further training and support will be provided, where required, to enable the successful candidate to fully undertake the role and to develop or enhance existing skills.
